Summary

PERMANENT ROLE – MONDAY TO FRIDAY (DAYS)

Wincanton are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team at Wincanton's St. Ives, Cambridgeshire site. Driving Class 1 artic or drawbar vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer orders to building sites and homes in the region.
• Operate a crane vehicle ensuring vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to health and safety and specific customer requirements.
• Ensure punctuality for on-time deliveries.
• Work various day or night shifts with overtime and occasional weekend work.

What will you bring?

• Valid C+E Class 1 licence.
• Valid CPC certification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Experience with cranes/drawbars is desirable.
• HIAB, Palfinger roll loader experience advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised.
• Enthusiastic, reliable with a flexible attitude.
• Good English communication skills.
• Good geographical knowledge.
