What You’ll Do:

Evri's HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to Evri's clients and other sites in the Hermes network. You’ll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork is updated, and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time.

You will be responsible for tail-lifting, both loading and unloading your own vehicle.

Evri's full-time HGV Class 1 driver roles require 40 hours a week, working any 5 shifts out of 7 with rotas given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC, and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, but all drivers must undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Reasonable physical fitness.
