Housekeeper

Overview

Cygnet is looking for an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others. You’ll be working part-time, 30 hours per week, from 9 am until 3 pm (rota to cover Monday to Sunday). Your role at Oaklands will involve maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the individuals in Cygnet's care.

Oaklands is a specialist residential service supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. The team also supports those with additional mental or physical health needs and behaviors that may challenge.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning regimes.
• Maintain and replenish stock, ensuring equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

You Are:

• Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledgeable of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious, and have a positive attitude.
• A good communicator.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
