The Oakleaf Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Housekeeper to join Caretech's dedicated care delivery team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of resident care by ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Take direction and daily job tasks from the Nurse and Home Manager.
  • Clean and tidy all areas to a high standard in conjunction with co-workers.
  • Work to an agreed timetable and ensure the integrity of the building.
  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with health and safety policies.
  • Carry out additional cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Respond to action plans from environmental audits.
  • Monitor stock usage and storage, adhering to COSHH guidelines.
  • Assist with weekly/monthly deep cleaning and stock ordering.
  • Adhere to infection control guidelines and monitor additional cleaning requirements.
  • Report any issues with equipment and participate as a team member.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with unit policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with mandatory training and monitor pest control.
  • Ensure security of keys and report any untoward incidents.
  • Monitor your educational needs and undertake necessary training.
