Overview

The Corstophine Hotels Group is an established family-run business with three different locations: The Corstorphine Lodge Hotel, a 20-room hotel located in Corstorphine; the Cumberland Hotel, a 36-room hotel located in Haymarket; and the Edinburgh City Suites, which consists of 8 self-service apartments in the West End.

Corstorphine Hotels Group is currently looking for dedicated housekeepers to join Corstorphine Hotels Group's team. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities at the Cumberland Hotel and the Corstorphine Lodge Hotel. The projected start date for this position is late October.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and responsible person with a keen eye for detail. You should be able to work well within a team or individually. The role requires the cleaning of rooms and common areas to a high standard and completing tasks within an allocated timeframe. Flexibility is essential as working days may vary, including both weekdays and weekends to suit the needs of the business. Shifts will differ each week, with varying times, including 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning guest rooms and sanitizing bathrooms within a specified timeframe.
• Cleaning and disinfecting common areas.
• Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linen and towels.
• Assisting during the breakfast service.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience, especially in the hospitality sector or hotels, is preferable, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
• Ongoing training will be available as needed.

Pay: £10.50 - £11.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 18 – 35 hours per week
