Summary

The Housing Support Worker role involves providing essential support to clients within the community. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary of £24,962 per annum, with additional benefits for unsociable hours and a potential retention payment.

Responsibilities:

• Support clients in adhering to their HDC/Bail conditions.
• Create and implement achievable Support Plans that assist clients in accessing housing services.
• Conduct regular support sessions to ensure client objectives are met.
• Assist clients in applying for Housing Benefits to avoid rent arrears.
• Manage properties to ensure they meet Decent Homes Standards.
• Complete necessary cleaning tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver person-centered Support and Safety Plans.
• Maintain detailed Resident records.
• Coordinate with partner agencies for comprehensive client support.
• Develop and implement Move-on plans with clients.

• Proficient in creating personalized support plans.
• Understanding of safeguarding practices.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults.
• Ability to travel within the allocated area.

This position requires a Full Driving License and a vehicle for travel purposes. An Enhanced DBS and Prison Clearance will be necessary as part of the pre-employment process.
