Hospital Ward Host

Overview

Wise Employment is currently looking for Hospital Ward Hosts for an immediate start in Torbay, offering temporary to permanent opportunities with weekly pay.

As a Hospital Ward Host, you will be responsible for providing a ward-based catering service to patients, including:

• Providing patient meal services and beverage services at ward level.
• Ensuring a polite, courteous, and helpful service to patients and staff.
• Complying with all HACCP food safety requirements and legislation.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining high standards when working individually or as part of a team.
• Demonstrating courteous behavior and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
• Responding with humanity and kindness to every person.
• Providing the highest quality of customer service by acting on feedback.
• Using all PPE as required and attending specified shifts.
• Ensuring staff training is appropriate and up to date.
• Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Supporting colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

The hourly rates of pay will vary between weekdays and weekends:

• £11.44 per hour for weekdays.
• £16.13 for Saturdays.
• £20.94 for Sundays.

You will work 5 days out of 7, with shifts scheduled between 7 am to 7 pm on a rota basis, for a total of 30 hours a week.
