About the Role
As an ICT Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential admin support to Vale of Glamorgan Council's dedicated ICT team.
Pay Details: Grade 4 £23,500 - £24,294 pro rata (Approximate actual starting salary at £18,661; Pending pay award).
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday; 32.5 hours per week (term time only).
Main Place of Work: Ysgol Y Deri
Responsibilities include:
- Providing general office duties within the ICT department.
- Answering telephone enquiries and maintaining inventory of ICT equipment.
- Providing face-to-face assistance for staff queries.
About you
A DBS Check is required (Enhanced). Applicants must be registered with the Education Workforce Council prior to starting work in a school.
You will need to:
- Be IT literate with experience of MS Office software.
- Have experience with database systems.
- Possess good working knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems.
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit the ability to work as part of a team.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
