Brighton & Hove City Council is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and nurturing Individual Needs Assistant or Teaching Assistant to join Brighton & Hove City Council's committed team at Woodingdean Primary. This role will involve supporting children with their personal care and hygiene needs, as well as working collaboratively in the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the general care and mobility of children.
- Promoting inclusive practices to ensure every child achieves their best.
- Supervising during lunch breaks as a Midday Supervisory Assistant.

Experience in working with children with SEN would be an advantage, but training will be provided. Woodingdean Primary School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The role is fixed term until 31st August 2025, with paid weeks per year at 47.36 (TA) inclusive of holiday entitlement.
