Job Overview

Expleo Engineering UK Limited is seeking a Test Engineer with experience in infotainment to support the validation of infotainment electrical systems, navigation, and audio systems on behalf of Expleo Engineering UK Limited's globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing methods & procedures for validation of Infotainment systems.
• Ensure vehicle-level quality, function, and reliability standards are maintained with changes of Infotainment HW & SW.
• Creation of test reports.
• Root cause investigation.
• Technical support to the production plant.
• Management of suppliers.

Background and Skills Required

• Ideally Degree level qualified.
• Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance.
• Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment.
• Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans.
• Understanding of network communications, e.g., CAN, LIN.
• Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.

Additional Requirements

Flexibility to travel and a valid driving license are required for this role. To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are able to work within the UK.
