St George's Hospital is a large multi-speciality facility in South West London, co-located with a medical school. The Paediatric department comprises outpatient areas, intensive care, and 54 inpatient beds. The PICU offers care to 700 patients annually, collaborating with the South Thames retrieval service.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
- Full registration with GMC
- BLS training
- APLS/PALS/EPLS/NLS
Essential Experience
- Ability to assess patients comprehensively
- Experience caring for inpatient neonates and children
- Experience assessing infants and children in A&E
Essential Skills
- Basic procedures: phlebotomy, venous cannulation
Knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of general paediatrics
- Willingness to learn

- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Good interpersonal skills
