In-Dough Pizza is seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join In-Dough Pizza's team at In-Dough Pizza's Indian-Fusion pizza takeaway shop in Wolverhampton. As a Kitchen Assistant/Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of side and burger dishes to meet In-Dough Pizza's customers' expectations and uphold In-Dough Pizza's high standards of quality and taste.

Responsibilities

• Taking food orders over the phone and in-person *ESSENTIAL*
• Operate fryers/grills and cooking equipment efficiently and safely. Monitor cooking times and temperatures.
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables and preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures preferred
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

WORKING HOURS

Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 4:30pm - 9:30pm
