LGV Driver

Overview

As a Class 1 LGV Driver for DPD's Transport Department at DPD UK, you will be responsible for making bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide. This position offers a permanent contract with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

You will be driving a modern and well-maintained fleet on agreed shift patterns, ensuring timely deliveries to HGV-friendly locations. Your duties will include:

• Executing deliveries and collections, which may involve trailer swaps or live unloading and reloading based on customer needs.
• Adhering to company safety protocols and standards.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing DPD UK.

Qualifications

What DPD’re looking for:

• A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid UK CPC Card.
• A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ability to load and unload trailers as needed.
