This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with adult learners at Calderdale Adult Learning, which serves approximately 4,000 learners.

Job Overview

As a Literacy Numeracy & Employability Tutor, you will deliver essential literacy and numeracy courses tailored to the needs of both mainstream and learning disability students. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing learners' starting points and tailoring learning experiences.
• Tracking progress and providing individualized advice and guidance (IAG).
• Collaborating effectively within a teaching team.
• Adapting to new teaching challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of a Level 3 teaching qualification is desirable, alongside proven teaching experience, particularly with adult learners.
