Overview

Fife Council is holding a Fife Council jobs fair on the 30th of October from 10am - 2pm at the Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline. Fife Council will be available to discuss Fife Council's current vacancies and provide support for the online application process.

Working Pattern: 18 hours per week, Week 1: Mon & Tue days on, Week 2: Wed, Thu & Fri (job share)

Job Responsibilities

The Locality Lead Officer position involves operational management within START East Care at Home, contributing to the service's strategic direction.

• Lead a team to deliver high-quality person-centred services.
• Manage resources to prevent unnecessary admissions to long-term care.
• Develop a competent workforce through training and professional development.
• Monitor and manage team performance to ensure quality standards.
• Act as the Registered Manager with the Care Inspectorate and SSSC.

Candidate Requirements

You must hold (or be working towards) a relevant practice qualification:

• Professional Qualification in Social Work or NHS.
• Educated to SCQF level 9 or equivalent.
• Registration with SSSC within 6 months of employment.
