North Lanarkshire Council is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach to work who is committed to providing a front-line service to North Lanarkshire Council's tenants and enjoys working as part of a team to meet this varied and fulfilling role.
Responsibilities
Based within the Coatbridge Locality, you will:
- Supervise a team of Estate Officers.
- Maintain staff rotas and ensure continuity of excellent service to tenants and residents, responding to emergency situations as required.
- Report directly to the Housing Co-ordinator.
- Assist with service provision in relation to estate services, temporary homeless accommodation, and tower and concierge services.
- Respond to any emergency situations outside of office hours as requested.
- Ensure that staff are mobilised to assist with any emergency.
Requirements
- An SVQ3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
- Extended work experience in a housing or security environment is required.
- Experience of dealing with the public and supervisory skills.
- Self-motivated with a professional approach to work.
- Desirable: Experience working with community groups, knowledge of CCTV systems, and training in customer care and health and safety.
Working Pattern:
- 4 on, 4 off - day/night shift pattern
- Day shift: 7am – 7pm
- Night shift: 7pm – 7am
