LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR - GANTON SCHOOL

Grade & Scale point: 1, scp 2

Salary: £22,366 FTE, £3,803 Actual, £11.59/hr

Hours of work: 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12noon – 1.30pm

Contracts: Permanent, Term-time only (190 days per year)

Humber Education Trust's Lunchtime Supervisors will organise and participate in the supervision of children during the lunchtime period under the general direction of a L4 Teaching Assistant or Assistant Headteacher.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise children during the midday lunch break.
• Assist in the dining hall during meal service, promoting good eating habits.
• Plan and deliver playground games to encourage group play.
• Resolve behavioural issues following senior leaders' guidance.
• Provide basic first aid to sick children as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with children of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise engaging activities.
• Team player.
• First aid qualification or willingness to train.
• Commitment to safeguarding children's welfare.
