A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of Tailored Talent Ltd's surveying clients based in Manchester, specializing in providing professional surveying and setting out services for earthworks and civil engineering projects. This role involves working with cutting-edge machine control technology to deliver accurate digital terrain models and 3D modelling for machine guidance.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Setting out detailed works as per contract drawings, ensuring regular checks are carried out
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Conducting pre-start site surveys
• Promoting high standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance
• Conducting site calibration checks

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in civil engineering
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Proficiency in survey software (ideally LSS)
• Good understanding of AutoCAD LT
• Experience with total stations, GPS kits, and Dumpy Levels
• Ability to set out profile boards and batter rails for earthworks projects
