L3 Teaching Assistant

Overview

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at Aspire People, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher with engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Supporting students with classroom activities to ensure engagement.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience supporting SEN children in a mainstream school setting.
• Confidence in supporting both KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, supportive attitude.
