Midday Assistant

Overview

Warren Wood Primary School is looking for a proactive and highly motivated individual to join Stockport Council's lunchtime team. This role involves the coordination and supervision of children during lunchtime, promoting good manners and behaviour in the dinner hall, classroom, and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime
• Encourage safe and enjoyable activities in the playground
• Maintain hygiene standards

Working Pattern

Term time only. No holidays can be taken during school term time.

Requirements

• High levels of interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Capability to manage challenging behaviour
• A caring nature with a commitment to child safety

Salary and Benefits

Salary is Scale 1 point 2 (pro rata actual salary) at £5,170 per month. You will enjoy working with highly enthusiastic, well-behaved children who have strong attitudes to learning and personal development. There are strong relationships with staff, parents, and the community, along with a supportive leadership team and excellent care levels.
