Mechanical Engineer

Summary

As part of an ongoing investment at this site, Kenect Recruitment Ltd require an additional qualified Mechanical Engineer to join Kenect Recruitment Ltd's busy maintenance team. This role involves working on a rotating shift basis and directly contributes to providing prompt and responsive breakdown fault diagnosis and repair services, along with undertaking routine mechanical maintenance across a range of plant and machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of machine parts such as chain drives, gearmotors, valves, and pumps.
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks, identifying and rectifying any faults.
• Responding to emergency breakdowns on Kenect Recruitment Ltd's production lines.

About You:

Alongside your solid background in mechanical engineering, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment, you should be confident in working independently or as part of a team. Key attributes include:

• Strong understanding of computer-based systems and software.
• A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities.
