Job Overview
The Mental Health Practitioner role involves working 37.5 hours per week, including nights and unsocial hours as per rota requirements. The team is dedicated to providing care and treatment for service users requiring support from the Home Based Treatment Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to vulnerable service users in their homes.
- Prevent further deterioration to avoid hospital admissions.
- Work closely with Community Mental Health Teams and other services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with complex mental health needs.
- Ability to positively influence and adapt to a rapidly developing service.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Salary and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, along with a £7k Welcome Bonus for new starters.
Welcome Bonus Details:
- £3,000 after 2 months of employment.
- £2,000 after 12 months.
- £2,000 after 24 months.
This bonus is subject to repayment if the post holder leaves within 6 months of commencing employment.
