Hours of work: 40 hours a week, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Are you a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias? Want variety and the opportunity to apply your creative problem-solving skills? An excellent opportunity has come up at Imerys Minerals Limited's Pilot Plant, where you will carry out planned, scheduled routine, and reactive maintenance of fixed plant and associated systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification work to the processing fixed plant.
• Providing engineering support for other maintenance and installation activities.
• Installation of new equipment and process modifications.
• Ordering site spares.
• Adhering to Health & Safety standards.
• Ensuring all work areas are clean and free from hazards.
• Creating and collecting data.
• Filling in for Site Engineer, as and when necessary.

What Imerys Minerals Limited is looking for:

You will have a sound understanding of predominantly mechanical and some electrical maintenance including fixed processing plant - including fans, filters, mills, conveyors, packaging, etc.

You’ll also need to:

• Have an NVQ level 3, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering.
• Be able to fault find and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Have good communication skills and be a team player.
• Have a good level of IT skills.
• Be legally able to drive in the UK.
