Machine Operator

Overview

Vanta Staffing Ltd is searching for a dedicated Machine Operator to join Vanta Staffing Ltd's team. This permanent role involves working from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and offers a competitive salary of £12.00 to £13.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Operating metalworking equipment, both automated and manual.
• Learning to run various machines.
• Picking and packing ducting orders.
• Following all Quality Control guidelines set by the company.
• Adhering to the company's ISO Procedures and Health and Safety Policy.
• Performing other duties as required, including grinding and cutting pipe work.
• Driving deliveries as needed, holding a full UK driving license.

Key Requirements

• Reliable and physically fit.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations.
• Level 2 Numerate & Literate or equivalent.
• Computer literacy is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Methodical and tidy work approach.
• Ability to follow instructions from a supervisor.
• A Fork Lift License is beneficial but not essential.

Training

Full training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role.
