Job Title: Physiotherapist
Location: Homebased with travel within 2 hours of home address
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (pro rata if part time)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours) or Part Time (30 hours)
Right to live & work within the UK is required for this role.
Role Summary:
To provide a leading Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service to clients with the aim of early return to work. This involves a positive bio-psychosocial approach combining functional assessment with evidence-based treatment which is underpinned with excellent clinical care. The role will include remote triage calls/self-management calls, DSE assessments, workplace assessments and dealing with functional restoration.
Although this role involves home-based working, the post holder must be flexible to cover clients' sites within two hours of home address, and therefore must hold a driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, detailed, and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to employees on a remote or face-to-face basis.
- Identify, assess, and advise on any workplace hazards or contributing factors to Musculoskeletal disorders.
- Conduct workplace assessments such as DSE or work-based tasks as and when required and provide advice and recommendations as appropriate.
- Always maintain clinical objectivity and impartiality in line with occupational health guidance.
- Deliver effective evidence-based rehabilitation that adheres to national clinical standards.
- Utilise a bio-psychosocial approach combined with functional assessment to address barriers to work and inform robust work recommendations.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required for the Role:
- Clinical Physiotherapy Qualification.
- Full Member of the CSP & Registered member of HCPC is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Physiotherapist
- Good MSK knowledge
- Experience of providing functional assessment and fitness for work advice.
- Driver license & access to a vehicle.
