Job Summary: South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Rheumatology department. This position involves working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, providing comprehensive medical secretarial services to consultants and nursing staff.

Main Duties:

• Support clinical administration and assist in managing consultants' workloads.
• Maintain excellent communication with healthcare teams.
• Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in medical secretarial and administrative roles, with proficiency in IT tools including Office and Outlook. Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications:

• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
• NVQ3 level Secretarial or Business Administrative qualification.
• Medical Terminology qualification or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Previous secretarial and administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations.
