Mobile Tyre Fitter

Overview

Total Tyres is looking for a commercial mobile Tyre Fitter.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,500 per annum (dependent on experience), with a 10% salary increase upon obtaining an airside pass. Overtime and out of hours callout earnings can provide an additional £10,000 - £15,000 annually.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (with one Saturday off every four weeks)

Role Overview:

Total Tyres and Support is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Commercial Tyre Fitter to join Total Tyres and Support's expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and repairing tyres on a wide range of vehicles, from vans to heavy commercial units. This role involves attending customer sites and handling roadside breakdowns, as well as providing support to fleets operating airside at Heathrow Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fitting and repairing tyres for commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and plant machinery.
• Attending to roadside breakdowns and customer premises to provide prompt tyre services.
• Supporting Heathrow Airport’s airside fleet operations, following all necessary safety protocols.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial tyre fitting is essential.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• A proactive, flexible approach to overtime and call-out duties on a rota basis.
• Willingness to obtain an airside pass to support Heathrow Airport operations (with a 10% salary increase upon successful completion).
