Nursery Practitioner

Overview

Due to Tarleton day Nursery's ever expanding nursery, Tarleton day Nursery have a fantastic job opportunity at Tarleton day Nursery's Tarleton site. Tarleton day Nursery is looking for a nursery practitioner who can provide high-quality childcare and education, helping Tarleton day Nursery's young children to thrive in Tarleton day Nursery's beautiful rural setting. Qualified candidates should possess either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare and have a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of children.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care; daily risk assessments are essential.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Attend staff meetings outside of work hours.
• Occasionally work Saturdays for training or events to enhance Tarleton day Nursery's nursery.
• Participate in an ongoing personal professional development programme to meet Ofsted requirements.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development with the ability to observe, assess, and plan.
• Driving Licence (preferred).
• A-Level or equivalent (preferred).

Experience

• Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred).
• Childcare: 1 year (preferred).
• Management: 1 year (preferred).
