About the Role

William Jackson Food Group have an exciting opportunity for a Prep Room Operative to join the Prep Room Team. As a Prep Room Operative, you will help ensure the effectiveness of the Prep Room function, providing William Jackson Food Group's customers with the highest standard of product and service. You will play an integral role in meeting William Jackson Food Group's statutory obligations and company standards while maintaining a smooth and efficient service to maximize profitability.

Working Hours:

5pm-1:30am, 5 nights out of 6, Sunday - Friday (42.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of your area to create a professional, safe, and hygienic working environment.
• Ensure a smooth workflow in the warehouse, determining quality and appearance of the finished product before dispatch.
• Understand and safely use the prep room tablets and systems.
• Adhere strictly to food safety regulations.
• Ensure daily stock rotation of all produce.
• Assist colleagues as workload allows.
• Establish clear communication lines with prep room management and team members.
• Report all faults or damage to equipment following company procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of company and statutory Health & Safety, Security, and Emergency Procedures.
• Uphold operational standards regarding service, cleaning, and minimizing wastage.

Requirements:

• Reliable team member with great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail.
• Full training and appropriate PPE will be provided.
