Nursery Quality and Compliance Lead

About the Role
As a Nursery Quality and Compliance Lead, you will work with the Leadership and Management team in both Taplins nurseries to ensure integrated working between the settings and deliver high-quality childcare. Your role will include covering management gaps, supervising rooms, and providing management cover for the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Role model, motivate, lead, coach, and support University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust's teams.
- Ensure compliance with the EYFS statutory framework, OFSTED regulations, and the Children's Act.
- Plan and deliver change projects for the nurseries, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Line manage the Childcare Advisory service and Childcare Advisor.

- A degree in an Early Years Childcare related subject or equivalent sector experience alongside a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- Experience managing an Early Years setting or being an experienced deputy manager aspiring to this level.
- The ability to manage a large team and drive performance improvements.
Shift Pattern:
You will need to provide flexibility to work shifts between 07:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday, throughout the year.
