Operations Assistant - Immediate Start

Overview

Manheim Vehicle Services is an evolving business supporting customer de-fleet, multiple remarketing channels, and a complete range of vehicle preparation services including wholesale and retail ready. This requires an agile and responsive support function able to manage a variation of customer requirements.

Team members are responsible for ensuring all customer-defined requirements are delivered, ensuring operational and customer service excellence at all times.

Scope of Role:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on-site, adhering to HSE requirements.
• Drive in a professional manner in line with site rules.
• Carry out ad hoc duties to ensure smooth administration and inventory processes.
• Assist in the orderly appearance of the Yard.
• Observe all health and safety rules.
• Support stock checks and reconciliation processes.
• Understand and follow the “gating in” process.
• Conduct quality control checks in a timely manner.

Specific Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to drive various vehicles.
• Good time management and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to cope under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Compliant with handheld and tablet technology.
• Computer literate with an understanding of CAMS.
• Basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
