Offence to Rehab Support Worker

Overview

As an Offence to Rehab Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in Wolverhampton's substance misuse service. This dynamic position requires working closely with police in the city center, engaging with clients, and assisting them in their journey towards treatment and rehabilitation.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice, and support primarily via telephone, but also face-to-face and in group settings.
• Deliver interventions across various environments, including criminal justice, primary care, schools, and youth centers.
• Undertake assessments and case management with clients as directed.
• Liaise with external agencies such as GPs, treatment providers, and social care services.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have experience in substance misuse or relevant social care support, although Nacro welcomes applicants with minimal experience but appropriate qualifications.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience in care settings (1 year preferred)
• English language proficiency (preferred)
• Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Environment

This role requires working in person and involves police vetting due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
