JOB PURPOSE

As a Personal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to executives, ensuring smooth and efficient departmental operations.

Burberry currently have a Personal Assistant position available:

  • Personal Assistant - HR (permanent full-time role, working 4 days per week in Burberry's London office and 1 day from home)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage extensive diary and agenda across time zones, including planning and booking detailed travel itineraries.
  • Organize events at the request of the Executive team (e.g., team meetings, global townhall meetings).
  • Provide background information for all meetings, ensuring executives are fully prepared.
  • Maintain timekeeping for all meetings, ensuring executives adhere to their schedules.
  • Support the production of presentations and documents.
  • Process executive expenses in line with company policy.
  • Raise purchase orders and pay invoices according to company procedures.
  • Handle IT and maintenance queries.
  • Conduct general office administration, including ordering stationery and distributing post.
  • Respond to external invitations and speaking requests.
  • Manage partner/contact distribution lists for internal and external communications.
  • Provide administrative support for wider functions as required.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant to senior leaders in a commercial environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with meeting technologies (VC, teleconference, MS Teams, Webex).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Professionalism with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of executive administration processes and procedures.
  • Flexible and able to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Experience with Concur and Ariba/SAP is preferred.
