People Advisor - Maternity Leave Fixed Term Contract

Are you looking for your next step on the HR career ladder? Join Aster Group as a People Advisor, supporting Aster Group's Employee Relations Partners with casework and coaching leaders on people-related practices.

The Employee Relations Team is part of the wider people team, handling all matters related to employee relations.

This role is offered as a fixed-term contract for a minimum of 9 months.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside experienced ER Partners to support leaders across multi-site operations.
• Provide first-level Employee Relations advice and guidance.
• Manage casework using Aster Group's system (Service Now) and escalate where necessary.
• Promote restorative practices as alternative resolution mechanisms.

About You:

• Experience in HR, preferably as an administrator or officer.
• Knowledge of employment law and related processes.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to grow expertise through coaching.

Occasional travel within Aster Group's operational area is required, so a driving license is essential.

Operating Region: Covers Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, and London.
