Personal Care Assistant

Overview

Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd's established team to provide compassionate care and support for Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd's client, who is living with a spinal cord injury.

Job Overview

Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd's client leads a very active and social lifestyle, traveling throughout the year (approximately 12-14 weeks), therefore Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd require staff who are happy and prepared to travel abroad with Spinal Injury Case Management Ltd's client when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support with all aspects of personal care.
• Assistance with moving and handling.
• Help with activities of daily living.
• Meal preparation and rehabilitation support.
• Domestic duties within the home.
• Transport provision for community access, appointments, and therapy sessions.
• Caring for and walking the client’s two small dogs.

Shift Patterns

Shifts comprise of weekday and weekend shifts, covering day and night shifts, therefore full flexibility is essential for this position.

Salary and Benefits

Pay: Up to £29,000.00 per year

Education Requirements

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience Requirements

• Care home: 1 year (preferred)
• Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language Skills
