The role

As a Principal FE Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for leading in the execution and delivery of complex FE analysis-based tasks, using their deep technical knowledge to support product development throughout the design lifecycle.

• Provide technical support to key customers, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of engineering outputs.
• Analysis using ANSYS for linear and non-linear, static and dynamic, structural, thermodynamic in time and frequency domains.
• Implement robust verification and validation processes for stress analysis.
• Generate analytical methodologies for optimization of stress analysis studies.

This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Principal FE Specialist

• Deep professional expertise, knowledge, and experience in FEA.
• Experience in the use and application of ANSYS.

Qualifications for the Principal FE Specialist

Degree qualified in an engineering discipline with extensive experience in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
