Brighton and Hove City Council is opening a Residential Placement for children with disabilities. The Practice Manager will be responsible for the overall management and quality of the new Residential Home, providing care for up to 5 children and young people with a range of disabilities and complex needs.
About the Role
You will ensure the home meets Ofsted standards and that children receive high-quality, person-centered care.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure the home meets Ofsted standards.
- Lead and supervise a team, providing training and development opportunities.
- Manage staff deployment and resources in accordance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with families and agencies to maintain a responsive environment.
- Manage budgets and maintain accurate records.
- Promote the organization’s vision and uphold safeguarding standards.
- Oversee unit management and prioritize work for staff.
- Review and develop services in partnership with the Head of Service.
- Implement standards and contribute to target planning.
- Coordinate resources effectively.
- Maintain client confidentiality per the Data Protection Act.
Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if less than 37 hours or term-time only. Brighton & Hove City Council support flexibility and employee wellbeing.
