Professional Nurse Educator

Overview

Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse for the position of Professional Nurse Educator in Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's inpatient units at Basildon. This exciting opportunity requires a registered nurse with recent clinical inpatient experience at a senior level to facilitate and support the clinical, professional, and educational development of Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's mental health nursing workforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate a programme of clinically relevant practice education.
• Support the professional development of mental health nurses throughout their career journey.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent leadership skills.
• Engage, support, and motivate nursing staff at all levels, including student nurses and healthcare assistants.
• Provide expert knowledge and clinical leadership to the clinical team.
• Ensure high-quality placements for learners and staff to deliver compassionate care.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Strong clinical background within mental health nursing.
• Range of clinical and practice experience within NHS services.
