You will work as a supernumerary while gaining skills alongside experienced practitioners. A mentor will assist you throughout, ensuring you achieve your competencies.
Formal teaching will cover various topics, delivered by University Hospital Southampton NHS FT's anaesthetic team and Education team, currently offered at Level 6 (40 credits). Successful completion enables you to join the team of anaesthetic practitioners working independently.
University Hospital Southampton NHS FT is looking for Nurses with commitment and understanding of the role, though prior experience in anaesthetics is not necessary. The department operates 24/7, requiring flexibility for early, late, and night shifts.
