This is an exciting time to join Cardiff Council’s Development and Regeneration Service Area. About the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a council housing build programme across a diverse range of sites throughout Cardiff, specifically in the area of older persons accommodation. You will be involved in all stages of project delivery from planning and design to implementation and evaluation. Involvement in funding bids and project finances will also be required.
All projects include site investigation and appraisals, liaising with tenants and residents, and working in partnership with other service areas and external agencies in the design and specification of schemes.
What Cardiff Council is Looking For From You
You should have a qualification or proven experience in regeneration, housing, or a related discipline, possess good communication and customer care skills, be well organised, and be able to work on your own initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with partners would be crucial to this role.

THIS POST IS TEMPORARY FOR 12 MONTHS.
Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Director/ Assistant Director/ Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools-based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
