As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide a high-quality occupational therapy service in various settings and receive regular supervision from an experienced OT. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support children and young people's occupational therapy needs.
Main Duties:
- Manage a caseload of children with diverse needs.
- Write reports for Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants/Technicians.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to student assessments.
About the Service:
The Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service is part of the Integrated Team for Children with Disabilities, serving children aged 0-19 experiencing functional difficulties. Achieving For Children work across various community settings, aiming to increase Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) referrals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma/BSc/Graduate Diploma/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- Active HCPC Registration and CPD evidence.
- Skills in assessment and intervention planning.
- Knowledge of physical and developmental disabilities.
