Liverpool Football Club is excited to announce an opportunity for a PDP Phase Analyst. Based in Kirkby, this full-time role focuses on the collection, interpretation, and presentation of performance data for Liverpool FC's Academy Players. Key responsibilities include:

  • Filming and coding all age group games.
  • Sending competitive fixtures to Statsbomb for analysis.
  • Uploading game footage to Hudl promptly after matches.
  • Providing pre-match support with clips and presentations.
  • Creating motivational videos for individuals and teams.
  • Collaborating with coaches to produce ‘Team’ content for de-brief meetings.
  • Staying updated with technical developments in performance analysis.
  • Ensuring all content adheres to department guidelines.
  • Accurately storing player and team information on academy servers.
  • Recording training and match footage in line with EPPP regulations.
  • Continuously developing coaching skills through relevant courses.

Successful candidates will have a degree in a sports science field and coaching or teaching qualifications. Experience in the PDP phase at a Category 1 or 2 Club is preferred, alongside strong knowledge of football's technical and tactical aspects.

Essential skills include high computer competency and proficiency in analysis software such as Hudl SportsCode, and the ability to present data effectively. Flexibility to work during unsociable hours is crucial, as is the capacity to thrive under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
