Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a proactive, motivated individual who enjoys working in a busy environment within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's friendly team at The Children's Hospital in Oxford. As a Patient Pathway Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective clinical administration service to the department, consultants, nurses, and the wider clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for patients, colleagues, and referrers, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Coordinate workflows through the admin team to maintain consistency across the service.
- Monitor and maintain the NHS e-Referral Service database, managing all referral lists and highlighting potential issues.
- Liaise effectively with GP Practices to ensure timely receipt of relevant referral information.
- Ensure all patient referrals are dealt with according to Trust processes, clinical priority, and wait times.
- Develop an understanding of the Trust Elective Access Policy and contribute to the ongoing development of elective administration processes.
