Overview

Gov Facility Services Limited is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join Gov Facility Services Limited's team at HMP Portland, a Category C prison holding men aged 18+. Responsibilities

As a Plumber, you will:

• Work on commercial and industrial heating and water systems.
• Ensure compliance with Water Supply Regulations and Control of Legionella L8.
• Collaborate with various trades to enhance facility operations.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £36,595.10 per year, along with:

• 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with 39 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.

Education and Skills Requirements

Candidates should have:

• Two years' experience in a plumbing role or equivalent.
• Qualifications such as C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating, C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing, and others.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
