Pre-School Assistant

Overview

Hope Pre-School is seeking enthusiastic Pre-school assistants to join Hope Pre-School's team from 18th November until July 2025 for maternity cover. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with young children in a nurturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the educational development of children in a preschool setting.
• Engage with children in various activities to foster learning and creativity.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment for all children.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create an engaging curriculum.

Hours

This role involves approximately 18 hours per week, primarily during mornings, and could be offered as a job share.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be:

• Friendly and enthusiastic.
• Capable, caring, and creative.
• Experienced in working with young children.
• Preferably holding a level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.

Requirements

• GCSE or equivalent (required).
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• A DBS check will be requested prior to confirmation of appointment.

Work Location

This position is in-person in Hope Valley.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly pay for this role is £11.95, offering a competitive compensation for the responsibilities involved.
