Passive Safety Engineer

Overview

Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, looking for an Automotive Passive Safety Engineer to join their research and development facility. The Passive Safety Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conducting safety performance planning
• Test planning and analysis of CAE and physical test results
• Producing test analysis reports

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A degree in a relevant subject matter
• Experience in passive safety performance
• Knowledge of safety restraints systems, body engineering, or electrical architecture and systems

Additionally, they should possess:

• An understanding of vehicle passive safety design concepts
• Experience in interpreting and analysing various Regulation and Consumer based passive safety crash tests
• Familiarity with automotive simulation and analysis tools
• A valid UK / European driving license
