This service aims to provide holistic mental health interventions for individuals in the Merton borough.
Description
The Merton Peer Support service focuses on individuals experiencing mental distress, providing them the opportunity for 1-2-1 and group support through peer relationships. Together for Mental Wellbeing's Peer Supporter Volunteers, drawing from their own lived experiences, assist others in achieving personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-2-1 peer support (in-person, online, or phone-based).
- Co-facilitate Self-Management Groups.
- Run peer-led groups and social meet-ups.
- Support the delivery of peer support training.
- Co-interview for peer support roles.
