Overview

Interim Planning Technician x2 (Land Charges) position involves assisting with the standardization and migration of local land charges register information. The role is set for 2-3 months with working hours from Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and identify local land charges and update the national register.
  • Utilize Council software and proprietary archiving tools.
  • Assist with accurate spatial capture and data manipulation.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Familiarity with Town Planning and local planning authority procedures.
  • Understanding of Local Land Charge search procedures.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and personal information management.
  • Experience in Land Charges and public interaction.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under pressure.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and think logically.
  • Competence in interpreting plans and drawings.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
