Quality Advisor Delivery

Overview

The position of Quality Advisor – Delivery sits within SPT Projects, the engineering and construction arm for Scottish Power’s SPEN business. This role supports large-scale CDM projects by providing guidance and surveillance for various internal and external QA/QC compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding the scope of works in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Reviewing the Contractor’s Quality Management Plan and associated documents.
• Attending project meetings to communicate quality expectations.
• Conducting site visits to perform quality inspections and ensure compliance.
• Managing quality monitoring and preparing timely reports.
• Supporting the project team in resolving quality nonconformities.
• Participating in Monthly Quality Meetings to provide updates.

Skills and requirements:

• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of QA/QC principles and their application in projects.
• Familiarity with Inspection & Tests Plans for construction.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
• Commitment to personal integrity and a culture of quality assurance.
