Role Overview
The Recruitment Assistant will provide administrative support to the recruitment process, engaging and onboarding the best candidates. This is an ideal role for those looking to grow their career in Human Resources within the healthcare sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer the recruitment process using the TRAC Recruitment Management system for all Agenda for Change staff groups.
- Respond to initial contacts to the Recruitment department via phone and e-mail.
- Ensure timely and accurate administrative support throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Recruiting Managers to provide a client-centered service.
- Audit procedures within the Recruitment Team and recommend improvements.
- Review applicant files to ensure all pre-employment standards are met.

Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent.
- Desirable: Customer care or business administration NVQ level 3.
Experience
- Essential: Administration experience and experience working in a pressurised environment.
- Desirable: Experience within recruitment.
Skills Required
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with various health service professionals.
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational and analytical skills.
Knowledge
- Understanding of GDPR and equality and diversity issues related to recruitment.
